Dora The Explorer Talking Digital Camera Review and Giveaway

Everyone knows who Dora The Explorer is! Just ask any of my grandkids lol. Whether they still watch her or not, play with her toys or just singing along as the younger kids are watching, singing or playing, Dora The Explorer is a common name in our home.
Sakar International, Inc. is a 30-year old consumer electronics manufacturer.  Their mission has always been to deliver great product at affordable prices.  Over the years they’ve grown from a small family business to a leader in technology trends, with showrooms and distribution worldwide.  Their company has evolved alongside technology – from selling camera lenses for SLR cameras, to being the #1 supplier of digital cameras to the mass retail channel.  They pride themselves on their diverse range of product.  Sakar is able to offer a lifestyle position and react quickly to the demands of changing technology and design.  From kids and adult to sustainable products.
For my review, we received Dora The Explorer Talking Digital Camera and boy, do we have some happy little ones. Your little one will love taking pictures of their adventures with the Dora the Explorer Talking Digital Camera. This camera says three different encouraging phrases. The internal memory holds up to 120 images, and the included Dora SnapShots software lets them create albums, write a story, and play 5 games. Dimensions: 4"W x 1"D x 2.5"H. Weight: 5 oz. Warranty: 1-year manufacturer's warranty. It tells how many pictures you can take depending on hi or low resolution.
Package Contents:
  • Pink Digital Camera
  • CD-ROM Software
  • User Manual
  • USB Cable (Uses 2 AAA Batteries) (not included)

There is also a great battery saver in which after a period of time with no use the camera will shut off. the camera has been awarded the Parent Tested Parent Approved (PTPA) Media Inc.’ Seal of Approval for excellence in parenting productsOnce you load your images onto your computer you can use the the software for all kinds of fun things. There are a number of games for you child to play such as Sandwich Shop, Maze Race, Jigsaw Puzzle, Memory, and Sliding Puzzle. In addition to games you can do all kinds of fun things with your photos. You can add frames, text, and other fun elements. You can create scrapbook pages and stickers. It really is a fun program, especially to introduce small children to photography and the wonders of what you can do with your photos using a computer. is important to note when using the camera is that there is a delay between the “talking” and actual picture taking, which is in the instructions. It's cute, it talks, (three phrases "We did it, yeah!", "Fantastica" and "…giggle…") and it's durable.

One of my readers will win a Dora The Explorer Talking Digital Camera.
