We love family game night! We had an opportunity to review a new family game called Do Tell and had a blast playing it. I was quite shocked at how my preteen grandchildren really opened up with their feelings during the game.
The game is for 2 to 8 players and takes approximately 45 min. to play. It is for ages eight - 88 but my 6 year-old grandson enjoyed answering the questions too. The Do cards require you to do an action, the Tell cards require you to tell something, the Risk cards are actually quite funny and brought tons of laughs from everyone, while the Wild cards brought many funny faces from us. It is a great interactive experience for the whole family. This game recently earned a Kidlutions Preferred Product Award because it exemplifies what social-emotional development is all about.
All you have to do is roll the dice, move your token and pick a card. Its a great game that encourages bonding between family members and helps you discover what your child is feeling with out them thinking you are prying. My granddaughter is having a sleep over so her and her friends can play the game and she is really excited about it. It actually isn't just for families, it would be a great game to play to get know others.
One of my lucky readers will have the opportunity to win a Do Tell game for their own family.
