Nintendo DS Learn Science from DreamCatcher Review and Giveaway

We received the Nintendo DS Learn Science from DreamCatcher. The grandkids absolutely love it! They are having a blast learning about Science....they are actually learning lots while having a fun.
They are learning the basic principles of light and sound, physics, the human body, biology and geography while playing a different minigames.
DreamCatcher is a Toronto, Ontario, Canada-based publisher of video games founded in 1996 by Richard Wah Kan. They have  operated their own Online Store since 2002
You unlock new minigames by scoring high marks in Career Mode and then perfect your skills by mastering unlocked minigames in Game Mode on one of 3 difficulty levels. Kids can challenge their friends in multiplayer minigames, or they can co-operate and challenge the AI.
Integrated age check with traffic light system offers gaming fun for every level of knowledge. Two different in game guides to help with explanations and examples. Multiplayer mode: Hotseat, Singlecard and Multicard for common learning with parents and friends through mini games.
The physics section is my grandson's favorite. He loves the lasers game in which he has to place mirrors in certain places to reflect the laser to a target.  It does get trickier as the harder levels are opened. The force of gravity is fun, as you have to place bouncy things in different places so that a falling object does not go past a bucket. It is challenging, but gives you three tries to get it right. I like it because it is a game that he just doesn't play for a couple of times and beats it...he is actually learning while playing and advancing in the game.
Game guides will help with explanations and examples. Multiplayer mode: Hotseat, Singlecard and Multicard for common learning with parents and friends through mini games.
Do you want learn about the different sounds of air, sound effects or creating colors, then colors and sounds it is. Physics allows players to learn how electrical current, lasers and the forces of gravity work. Ever wonder where a certain human bone is? Which senses are used at what times? Or where human organs belong? Yes, this is one game that is packed full of learning.
So parents, if you are looking for a game that can educate your young players and keep them entertained (while learning) then this is probably a title you will want to pick up. There is information on this game setup so that people of all ages can learn something, and it makes learning fun, even for us grandmas!  It is embarrassing just how much I have forgotten over the years. Very nice refresher course for me.
DreamCatcher is giving one (1) of my readers a Nintendo DS Learn Science Game.
